The DivineZ era and my immediate reactions

Just as the title implies, I will be giving my immediate reactions on all the recent Vanguard news that just dropped about a few days ago.

Nostalgia Overload: Which Encounters do I want?

I've been on a big nostalgia trip recently and with the advent of Prisms, I've decided to do an ultimate compendium of the encounter units that I personally want in Standard. Just to preface this, as much as I love encounters (And I do, they've all been handled wonderfully compared to V) I do not want Standard to become the encounter format. There needs to be a fine line between the two.

Just a few rules before I begin as well. I will not include the more obscure boss units imaginable, so no demon world castle's, Galahad, Lena, Barbaros or anything from Tachikaze (The last one is a joke, put your pitch forks you two). Also, not every clan will be on this list. 

Also, I'll be keeping it at least semi-realistic with the choices (Goodbye Shizuku 😭). Lets begin.

Prisms are coming back (And why they mean the world to me)

Here comes a wave of positivity (With some negative moments) detailing why I'm so excited for the return of Prisms, why I'm also still a bit hesitant and most importantly, why I love Prisms as much as I do to the point of it pushing me to write a blog post about it. 

Why V should be eradicated as a format!

Alright, as attention-grabbing and over-the-top as the title is, its exactly how I feel about the format now and I'll explain exactly, and with a moderate amount of detail (If it was an excessive amount, this blog would be far too long, and I want this post out before the 1-2 punch of Xenoblade Wave 4 and Tears of The Kingdom come out) as to why that is. 

Finally some good food: My wishes for the next V/P Collection

 Next week is finally the time when we're -finally- getting information on the constantly teased next V/P set. As someone who doesn't like Standard, its been a long wait to finally see something for either of these formats and that time is now. 

I'll be listing out my hopes and wishes for what I want from this set (Or sets). Finally....some good fucking food.

Standard: Why this format is terrible (OT included)

Alright, lets get the beginning statement out of the way first, do I believe what the headline says even though it contradicts my previous post from well over a year ago? Yes. 100%. The current standard format is not only the most unfun of the three current formats by a wide margin, but, its also absolutely a mess of a format with a myriad of problems that I will attempt to explain below. And before anybody shoddily mentions, I have been playing (Before I outright quit) standard for well over a year and have been playing Vanguard since 2014, so I have many comparisons I can easily draw from.

Prisms: The lovely mirage is disappearing

With today's reveal of the returning Prism trio, and after combing through the deck, trying it out and discussing with a few others, I feel comfortable in posting why I dislike the cards shown and why I feel the Prisms I used to love have now fallen to the wayside. 

Just a note, I am mainly referring to the Premium format in this article as that's the format I mainly play. 

My Big Problems with Bermuda Triangle

 Firstly, I am lazy and keep putting off writing about the new Granblue stuff, as well as the Bermuda reveals. Granblue (And Rose) is extremely entertaining and I'm very happy that Prisms (And Duo's) are returning, which, is something I'm glad I said before I start ripping through the clan in this blog post. 

Anyway, lets start.

Hey, guys and gals. Just a quick update for literally anybody who still keeps up with my blog. I've quit Vanguard, so don't expect anymore Vanguard posts from me here (As you can already witness), but I may configure this blog into more of an entertainment blog in the future.

If you're not interested in that, I suggest you stop stopping by, if you don't mind, then its something to look forward too. I haven't made up my mind yet, but if I do, expect something in the next month or so. Perhaps I'll do Nintendo Direct reviews, we shall see.

Vanguard Team League 2018: Stark Gate

Hey guys, what's up. I know I kinda stopped with the whole BT COTD round-up, and I do apologize for that, but I had other things going on IRL as well as school to worry about so I didn't have enough time to really sit down and review anymore cards.
